POMME park

In 2028, POMME park opens on land shaped by wind, water and time.

A sculpture garden without walls, set in a young forest planted by hand,

two decades ago. Local and international artists create works made specifically

for this terrain. Sculptures, sound works, outdoor video installations and

interventions that exist only here, in this place.

Many of these works grow out of earlier residencies: rooted in research,

in encounters with the landscape, with the community, and with the more-than-human

inhabitants of this ground.

POMME park is an interdisciplinary festival with visual art at its core,

surrounded by theatre, music, dance and food.

A living terrain where art and nature are in constant conversation.

In 2028 opent POMME park op een plek die gevormd is door wind, water en tijd.

Een beeldentuin zonder muren, gelegen in een jong bos dat twee decennia geleden

met de hand is geplant. Lokale en internationale kunstenaars creëren werken speciaal

voor dit terrein. Sculpturen, geluidswerken, video-installaties

in de buitenlucht en interventies die alleen hier, op deze plek, bestaan.

Veel van deze werken ontstaan tijdens eerdere residenties: geworteld in onderzoek,

in ontmoetingen met het landschap, met de gemeenschap en met de

meer-dan-menselijke bewoners van deze grond.

POMME park is een interdisciplinair festival met beeldende kunst als kern,

omgeven door theater, muziek, dans en eten.

Een levend terrein waar kunst en natuur elkaar voortdurend beïnvloeden.
